The CollegeAmerica family of colleges is proud to announce scholarships for new students looking to earn a degree for better career opportunities.
These scholarships are for:

- Future Nursing Professionals
- Entrepreneurs
General Requirements:
- Scholarships may only be awarded to new students.
- A student may not receive multiple scholarships from the college. External scholarships are also encouraged.
- Applicant must submit all required paperwork to the scholarship committee before the students begin taking courses.
- To remain eligible for the scholarship, recipients must maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 and at least 85% attendance.
- All scholarships include specific eligibility criteria and may only be awarded after application, determination of eligibility, and approval by the scholarship committee.
- Scholarship awards are limited and only available to those who qualify.
Available Scholarships
First Time Degree:
Applicant must be the first person in their immediate family (parents and siblings) to pursue a college degree and this must be the first degree program that the applicant has pursued.
value: $3,000.
Hispanic Student:
Applicant must be of Hispanic heritage, be fluent in Spanish and English, and be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
value: $3,000.
African American Student:
Applicant must be of African American heritage and be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
value: $3,000.
Asian Student:
Applicant must be of Asian heritage and be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
value: $3,000.
Native American Student (Flagstaff campus only):
Applicant must be of Native American heritage and be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
value: $3,000.
Single Parent Student:
Applicant must be the single custodial parent for a child under the age of 18 (proof required) and be presently single, divorced or widowed.
value: $3,000.
Professional Women’s:
Applicant must be female, 35 or older, and pursuing their first associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
value: $3,000.
Professional Men’s:
Applicant must be male, 35 or older, and pursuing their first associate’s or bachelor’s degree.

Leadership:
Applicants must have demonstrated leadership experience.
value: $3,000.
Future of Nursing:
Applicants must demonstrate financial need through the FAFSA process, express a desire to eventually go into the nursing profession, and enroll in one of the college’s healthcare programs.

Moms in Math:
Applicants must be female, have children under the age of 18, demonstrate financial need through the FAFSA process, and enroll in one of the college’s accounting programs.
value: $3,000.
Entrepreneur:
Applicants must enroll in one of the college’s business programs and submit a draft business plan.
value: $3,000.
Healthcare Provider:
Applicants must enroll in a healthcare program, demonstrate financial need through the FAFSA process, and submit a 500 word essay on why they want to enter the healthcare profession.

IT Professional:
Applicants must enroll in an IT program, demonstrate financial need through the FAFSA process, and earn at least one vendor certification before graduation.
