The Eskom bursary application is open for the 2014 intake.
Eskom generates approximately 95% of the electricity used in South Africa and approximately 45% of the electricity used in Africa. Eskom generates, transmits and distributes electricity to industrial, mining, commercial, agricultural and residential customers and redistributors. Additional power stations and major power lines are being built to meet rising electricity demand in South Africa. Eskom will continue to focus on improving and strengthening its core business of electricity generation, transmission, trading and distribution.

The Eskom bursary application is open for the 2014 intake. Eskom will be awarding bursaries to South African learners intending to study in the fields of Engineering, Accounting, Commerce, Communications and Human Resources and who qualify for selection. The application process closed on 31 July 2013. Please note that applications received after the closing date will not be considered.
The selection requirements are as follows:
University bursary holder | |
Prerequisites: | Matriculation exemption (or equivalent) and written proof of acceptance for admission by university and faculty |
