Introduction
A 12-month internship opportunity is available to motivated graduates wishing to obtain experience, knowledge and understanding portfolio management.The person will be assigned to assist portfolio manager(s) with specific assigned portfolios in terms of all related investment analysis (performance and risk analysis on products, underlying portfolios or managers under investigation). In addition, this person will be required to perform analytical functions within the investment management unit on a daily basis.
Work Output

•Conducts performance attribution and risk analysis
•Assists with rebalancing of funds on a periodic basis
•Evaluates portfolios and underlying fund managers on a qualitative and quantitative basis
•Assists portfolio managers and manager research team in the investigation and evaluation of fund managers on a qualitative and quantitative basis
•Conducts ad hoc performance and risk research studies and comparisons which includes studies on the probability of outperforming certain targets above inflation, hedge funds as a separate asset class etc
•Assists with monthly and quarterly comments/reports/presentations
•Applies portfolio and risk research in the multi-manager environment
•Participates on ad-hoc projects as agreed on with line manager
