SANCCOB is at the forefront of saving African penguins and other threatened seabirds. It never takes a day off and its rehabilitation team is on 24-hour call.
SANCCOB deploys its specialist emergency response skills in Africa, the Indian Ocean region, Antarctica and Sub-Antarctic. Through its training academy it equips people to work in the environmental sector; and a passion to instill pride and knowledge about marine conservation drives its education programmes.

BURSARY INFORMATION:
– This SACOB Bursary Initiative is for the full ICB Junior Bookkeeper National Certificate
– Applicants are required to be 16 years or older and no prior accounting knowledge is needed
– Each bursary awarded is for the full ICB Junior Bookkeeper National Certificate, valued at approximately R20 000
– Consisting of 4 skills programmes namely Bookkeeping to Trial Balance, Business Literacy, Payroll and Monthly SARS Returns and Computerised Bookkeeping, the ICB Junior Bookkeeper National Certificate is to be completed during 2014
– Inclusive in the Bursary is:

1 Assessment entry per course
All study material required for the full ICB Junior Bookkeeper National Certificate

Terms and Conditions:
By entering the promotion / competition entrants agree to abide by the rules and conditions of the promotion /
competition.
The promoter of this competition is South African College of Business (SACOB) through Edgars Club
The Bursary is for the full ICB Junior Bookkeeping Qualification, consisting of four skills programmes
(Bookkeeping to Trial Balance, Business Literacy, Payroll and Monthly SARS Returns and Computerised
Bookkeeping) and is not transferable to a 3rd party, or transferrable for cash.
The prize cannot be transferred to a different SACOB course
To stand a chance of winning one of 10 SACOB bursaries to the value of R20 000 each, and to qualify for the
draw, you must complete the application form
No late entries will be accepted
Edgars Club / Edcon (Pty) Ltd are in no way responsible for drawing winners of this promotion. This is done
solely by SACOB through their Bursary Programme. No correspondence will be entered into.
The Bursary includes full access to the 2013 Online Classroom and all study material as well as ICB 2013
membership fees and one assessment entry per course
The prize excludes re-writes and ICB membership fees for 2014 onwards
The prize is valid for the Online Classroom for the period of 18 February 2013 to 14th November 2013

Winners must participate in the forums and post questions on the Student Support Centre
Winners must complete all SACOB feedback forms and questionnaires

Winner’s agree that their details and photograph may be used for publicity or promotional material by both
SACOB and Edgars Club.
The Promoter will make all reasonable attempts to contact the winner or winners but if any winner cannot be
contacted within 7 days from the date of the relevant draw, then the promoter reserves the right to draw a new
winner. It is the entrants’ responsibility to provide the correct contact details.
All successful applicants will be notified via telephone by the 21st January 2013
SACOB board members will be judging the competition based on the following criteria: Entrant meets all entry
criteria in terms and conditions, and their motivational letter shows originality, inspiration, determination
Winners will be chosen at the discretion of SACOB judges
