One of the key issues South Africa faces is that of ensuring adequate tertiary education for black disadvantaged students. This is a cause which closely aligns with Aurecon’s brand proposition, ‘Fostering Human Achievement.’ Aurecon has been investing in its own in-house bursary programme for over 40 years, and believes that education is crucial to the successful skills development of tomorrow’s leaders.
Aurecon provides engineering, management and specialist technical services for public and private sector clients globally. With an office network extending across 26 countries, Aurecon has been involved in projects in over 80 countries across Africa, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and the Americas and employs around 7 500 people throughout 11 industry groups. Aurecon is a learning organisation and our Bursary Scheme offers top performing scholars and students financial support covering Engineering related degrees at accredited universities.
This applies to undergraduate level degrees in the following fields:
– Civil Engineering
– Electrical Engineering
– Mechanical EngineeringRequirements to be considered for Aurecon’s Bursary Programme are as follows:Grade 12 Students:
– Valid South African ID
– Grade 12 requirements: Mathematics (HG) and Physical Science (HG)
– Able to provide proof of “official “current academic results.
– You will require a 5 symbol or above for Mathematics and Physical Science
– Be accepted by the chosen university for the specific course as mentioned aboveUniversity Students:
– Valid South African ID
– National Senior Certificate or Equivalent
– Students must obtain and maintain a minimum of 70% aggregate to be consideredAurecon aims to nurture young talent, providing budding engineers with the academic and practical support required to lead all individuals towards professional careers within the engineering field.
